Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation testing with Java, a deep understanding of Unix/Linux, and hands-on experience with SQL. This role requires prior experience in the Investment Banking domain, with a good grasp of the trade lifecycle and testing methodologies for Front to Back, Functional, and Regression Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Java.
• Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework to meet project requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, and front-to-back testing for banking applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot defects, ensuring high-quality releases.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and test cases.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data integrity.
• Work in Unix/Linux environments, executing commands and performing server-side validations.
• Ensure adherence to best testing practices and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in automation testing with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and ability to perform shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience in SQL queries and database validations.
• Good understanding of the Investment Banking domain, including Trade Lifecycle.
• Ability to analyze and extend existing test automation frameworks.
• Experience in functional, regression, and front-to-back testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Location Preference: Only Pune-based candidates will be considered.
• Work Mode: Hybrid 3 days mandatory Work From Office.
