Job Roles & Description :

- We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Lead who possesses extensive experience with Azure Cloud.

- The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data platforms that facilitate effective data management, analytics, and governance across the organization.

- This position demands a deep understanding of cloud-based architectures, particularly the Azure ecosystem, and proficiency in leveraging Databricks for big data processing and analytics.

- As a Data Platform Lead, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including data scientists, data analysts, and business leaders, to ensure that our data infrastructure meets the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and compliance.

- Your expertise will also be critical in establishing data governance frameworks that promote data quality, security, and accessibility throughout the organization.

Location : Hyderabad / Mumbai (onsite).

- Preferred who can join us within 30 days.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based data platforms and services.

- Utilize Databricks for efficient large-scale data processing and analytics.

- Establish and enforce data governance practices and policies across the organization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions accordingly.

- Monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring scalability and reliability of data solutions.

- Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and governance guidelines.

- Provide technical support and guidance to users regarding data access and utilization best practices.

- Continuously evaluate and improve the data platform's architecture, scalability, and performance.

- Implement new technologies and tools to enhance the platform's capabilities.

- Relentless focus towards improvements in CI / CD processes and platform stability and scale.

Qualification & Requisites :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience working with Azure data services like Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Blob Storage, Azure synapse, Azure stream, Azure purview etc.

- Strong proficiency in Databricks, including Delta Lake and Spark SQL.

- Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.

- Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
