Role Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Internal Communications Content Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, curating, and delivering engaging content to enhance internal communication within the organisation. The role involves crafting clear and compelling messages that align with company culture, values, and objectives, and ensuring colleagues are informed, engaged, and connected.

Main responsibilities

• Content Creation: Draft content for communication materials, including newsletters, intranet content, emails, presentations, video briefs and social media posts, tailored for internal audiences.

• Message Alignment: Ensure that all internal communication reflects the company s tone, culture, and strategic goals, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.

• Intranet Management: Maintain and update the company s intranet site with relevant and timely information, ensuring content is user-friendly and visually appealing.

• Internal CRM platform management: Become the expert for internal events and messaging on Aptia s CRM platform, managing the delivery of internal comms and events through the platform.

• Campaign Development: Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to design and implement internal communication campaigns for initiatives such as employee engagement, company updates, HR announcements, and change management.

• Content Calendar: Manage a content calendar for internal communications, ensuring a steady stream of information and updates.

• Feedback and Metrics: Gather employee feedback on communication effectiveness and use data-driven insights to continuously improve internal communication strategies and content.
• Collaboration: Work closely with People Team colleagues, leadership, and various teams to ensure communication efforts support broader company goals and initiatives.

Required skills

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong ability to create compelling and clear messaging for diverse audiences. This includes the ability to make documents (Powerpoint, Word and other formats) visually appealing.
• Proficient in using digital tools for content creation.
• Knowledge of content management systems (e.g., SharePoint, WordPress) is a plus.
• Video editing and design skills are a bonus.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creativity and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
