Job Responsibilities:

• Should be a Software Architect responsible for Automotive Infotainment Android Product.
• Should independently own the overall Android SW Architecture & Design
• Analyzing Customer Requirements, Internal and Standard Requirements to create Software Architecture Design
• Ensure the creation of software design document from architectural design by partnering with stakeholders like system engineer, SW team, SWPL, IT&V, electrical engineer.
• Participate in software architectural and software design reviews
• Participate in competency design, customer design reviews and deep dive discussions for any challenges faced in design/issues
• Develop reuse strategy for the product/project
• Participate in Product Strategy and Architecture Planning and support of Product Roadmap Development
• Help start center for new business pursuits and customer engagement.
• Work with systems/customer towards defining functionality/requirements where gaps are identified.
• Single point of contact (technical) for internal team and Customer/external interfaces
• Working with potential suppliers for new and upcoming technologies for Infotainment products.
• Should understand and involve in various KPIs including certification activities/process.
• Analysis and resolution of customer and internal reported systemic issues
• Be abreast with current technology trend in Infotainment Products and handle stakeholders & customer requests.
• Monitor Android Automotive trends, roadmaps and incorporate in product SW roadmap

Key Experience/Skill Requisites:

• Vehicle level knowledge of Infotainment products and ECUs that communicate with Infotainment Head Unit
• Experience in Infotainment technologies like Tuner, Media, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, WiFi, Networking.
• At least 6+ years of Android development experience (Application, Services, HAL, BSP in Android)
• 3+ years of experience as Android SW Architect role
• 3+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment domain
• 3+ years of experience on Android Automotive OS
• Expertise in minimum Android 11/12 version.
• Latest Technology and trends in Android Automotive products
• Deep architecture and development level knowledge on Infotainment Android Solutions.
• Expertise in Android Framework & Android Automotive Framework.
• Expertise on setting up Android AOSP build system for new product
• Expertise in Android Studio IDE Design, Development and Debugging.
• Excellent Java, C, C++ programming skills.
• Excellent knowledge on Android App Development concepts and APIs
• Expertise in HIDL and HAL services design.
• Expertise in Android Security policies
• Expertise in Android Product/Device/Board Configuration
• Expertise in Android Secure Boot, Android startup and initialization sequences
• Good knowledge on Android BSP
• Good knowledge of performance optimizations in Android
• Working Experience in Agile development, ASPICE process adherence on Architecture and traceability.
• Strong debugging/trouble-shooting skills
• Expertise in Google Test Framework and testing frameworks used in Android like Junit, Mockito, Tradefed.
• Knowledge and experience in CTS, VTS requirements and compatibility issue analysis
• Tools GIT, Geritt, JIRA, Polarion, Confluence, Android Studio, Enterprise Architect (UML), VMWare, Coverity.
• Good analytical, problem solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly self-motivated and energetic.

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics, Communication/Computer Science /Instrumentation/

• 10+ years and above of relevant experience
