Customer Solution Architect

Summary:

• This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment, working in the India Regional business unit, TCI Bangalore -.
• In this role as a Customer Solution Manager/Architect you will support to create effective pursuit process and secure future business award.
• Leading process and Technical Design review preparation, coordinating the Engineering to effectively estimate cost, resources and overall needs.
• Work with Sales and Technical Account Director / EPL / TM to analyze incoming customer requirements, capture technical requirements and formulate responses to the customer

Major Accountabilities:

• Lead new business pursuits for next generation automotive products.
• Be the voice of the APTIV engineering team in front of the customer and the voice of the customer to the APTIV engineering team.
• Drive customer specification analysis with cross-competency teams.
• Lead the concept selection for Aptivs product quote offering.
• Create and document engineering resource and cost estimates for new business execution.
• Lead the Engineering Quote Reviews through the pursuits process.
• Generate the engineering technical assumptions, deviations and exceptions in the quote response.
• Support Business Management and Finance during the development of the business case.
• Support Sales team during the creation of their quote letter.
• Organize the customer Technical Design Reviews during quote pursuits.
• Participate in Product Strategy and Architecture planning and support product roadmap development
• Conduct consultations and workshops with customers to evaluate the realization of new products, designs and concepts.
• Define and implement the communication interfaces to all related competencies such as Engineering, Quality, Production, Purchasing, Sales and Business Management
• Manage communication within the pursuit team
• Coordinate the creation of a cost optimized bill of materials (BOM) and estimate development costs (EFIT) for the various phases in the bidding process such as Pre-Engagement, RFI, or RFQ
• Lead the Flow 3 to Flow 4 Transition Event for the won programs

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

• Bachelor/ Master degree in engineering
• Knowledge of the automotive industry or related sector.
• ADAS, Compute or UX product former design experience
• Proven experience in developing technical solutions and systems
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of relevant software tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other planning tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and business requirements.
