DevSecOps Engineer - Site Reliability (12-14 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer) with expertise in DevOps CI/CD Pipeline integration and Azure Platform.

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring tools, and security governance to drive the efficiency, reliability, and security of our development and deployment processes.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Consulting : Assess and enhance current development and deployment processes.

- CI/CD Implementation : Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions with declarative YAML.

- Infrastructure Automation : Deploy Azure resources using IaC tools such as Bicep, Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.

- Azure Environment Management : Organize and manage Azure environments, including landing zones, subscriptions, resource groups, and governance policies.

- Monitoring and Alerting : Implement monitoring systems using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and OpenTelemetry.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.

- Collaboration : Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to integrate DevSecOps practices into the SDLC.

- Security and Governance : Implement security policies in CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments using tools like Entra ID, Azure RBAC, and Azure Policy.

- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for DevSecOps processes, standards, and configurations.

- Training : Train internal teams on DevSecOps tools, practices, and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- Experience : Proven track record as a DevOps Engineer or Consultant with successful project implementations in SDLC/ALM.

- Version Control : Proficiency in Git, branching strategies (GitFlow, GitHub Flow), and enforcing GitHub policies.

- CI/CD Tools : Expertise in Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Proficient in tools like Azure Bicep, ARM templates, Azure CLI, and Azure PowerShell.

- Azure Expertise : Deep knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

- Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with Azure (knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud is a plus).

- Security and Governance : Familiarity with tools like Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Azure Policy, and security best practices in Azure.

- Soft Skills : Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud.

- Familiarity with advanced monitoring tools and frameworks like OpenTelemetry
