Position Title Senior Manager - Technical support and Quality Management

1. JOB PURPOSE

The position exists to provide technical services and product Quality management for Wind and Solar project Solar

of Apraava Energy with the objective of:

• Support business growth on solar portfolio through evaluation of new business opportunities and new business area in RE vertical, Technical due diligence of newer wind and solar technology.

• Develop the quality assurance and quality control plan, ensure compliance. Leading the effective implementation of contract specification and quality from supply to construction and operation phase of wind and solar and TD projects

• Keep abreast with the industry development, CEA regulation, MNRE guidelines etc. and brief internal teams on the impact if any on product and solution.

• Key accountabilities and deliverables: • Technical due diligence of WTG and solar and new emerging

technologies • Vendor/contractor technical DD and support the new vendor

development to optimize the cost and delivery schedule. • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management

system to ensure products and services meet or exceed established quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with product development and manufacturing teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into all stages of the product lifecycle.

• Handling and management of 3rd party inspectors at vendor place (In process and Finish good inspections) and project (Filed quality monitoring) and track nonconformance and its logical closure

• Establish and maintain quality agreements with vendors, clearly defining quality expectations, performance metrics, and responsibilities.

• Working closely with BD for contract technical schedules, scope and documentation requirement for project lifecycle operation and control

• Ensure all quality-related terms and conditions are documented in contracts and communicated effectively to vendors.

• Leading the effective implementation of contract specification /quality from supply to construction phase of wind and solar projects.

• Keeping tab on the industry development and innovations • Participate Prebid, Regulatory, MNRE meetings. Keep abreast

with the regulatory development, grid code, CEA regulation, MNRE guidelines etc. and brief stakeholders on the impact if any on product and solution.

• Non-Conformance Management: Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformances with vendors promptly. Collaborate with vendors to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address root causes and prevent future quality issues.

• Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution.

• Undertake the Asset health audit for operational and MA projects identify the risk, recommend, and execute mitigation.

• Prepare the roadmap of self OMS plan- Ensure technical preparedness and necessary documentation for self OM of Apraava assets.

• Support BD to evaluate the new business opportunities and new business area.

• Provide support in exploring facilitation of Creative Engineering space for New Solutions

• Facilitate sharing of new developments in Technology with the wider audience.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the

overall efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of technical

service and support operations. • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development

within the team to stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices.

Management Functions

• Participate in formation of Regional Policies / Standards /

Guidelines as necessary to streamline technical function and

business processes. • Facilitate technical collaboration within Apraava Energy BD

and technical.

Interface with Hong Kong

• Engage with Hong Kong for all Apraava Energy related Technical Engagements (e.g., OTRs, Standards Guidelines formation)

• Network with Subject Matter Experts in Hong Kong for developing the system and process

5. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications:

Functional Skills:

Relevant and total years of Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / quality management.

• Strong networking with vendors, OEM, consultant, and government agencies in renewable space

• Techno commercial acumen

• Detail-oriented and highly organized to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.

• Proven experience in supplier quality management, preferably in a wind and solar manufacturing-oriented industry.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of technical professionals.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members.

Overall experience: Minimum 12+ year of experience

Specific experience in:

• Techno commercial background would be preferred.

• Experience on BESS and PV hybrid system is added advantage.

• TDD and MA experience

• Vendor evaluation and management
