APP Sierra - Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing (4-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Manual Testing : Conduct thorough manual testing of APIs and databases to ensure functionality, performance, and security.

- Test Case Design and Execution : Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test cases for API and database validations.

- Defect Tracking and Reporting : Identify and troubleshoot quality issues, providing detailed defect reports to the development team.

- Collaboration : Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align testing efforts with product goals.

- Documentation: Maintain and manage documentation for test results, processes, and bug tracking.

- Quality Assurance : Provide feedback and support during the software development lifecycle to ensure quality standards are met.

- Efficiency and Improvement : Ensure timely execution of tests and assist with continuous improvement of testing methodologies.

Requirements :

- 4-6 years of experience in Manual API and Manual Database Testing.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency in database querying.

- Experience in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and bug reports.

- Familiarity with API testing tools (e. , Postman, SoapUI) and database management systems.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate findings clearly.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
