Magic XPA Developer - Policy Administration

Experience : 10+ years

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop complex policy administration systems using Magic XPA.

- Create and maintain data models and business logic to support insurance policies.

- Develop user interfaces and reports to meet business requirements.

- Integrate with external systems (core systems, CRM, billing systems) using APIs and web services.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Optimize code and database queries to improve system performance.

- Implement caching and indexing techniques to enhance response times.

- Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Conduct performance testing to identify and address performance bottlenecks.

- Create detailed technical documentation, including system design documents, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

- Share knowledge and best practices with team members.

- Stay current with the latest Magic XPA features and best practices.

- Explore new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in Magic XPA development.

- Strong understanding of insurance domain, particularly policy administration.

- Expertise in Magic XPA programming language and its features.

- Proficiency in SQL and database design.

- Experience with web services (REST, SOAP) and API integration.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other programming languages (Java, .NET).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
