Job Description
Purpose of the Job : Testing and validation of all tyre categories to establish market leadership in India.
Major Responsibilities :
Major Responsibilities :
1. Conduct field evaluation tests as per established norms, systems & procedures.
2. Gather competitive intelligence from field for tyre & market development, with key insight of tyre duty cycle
3. Selection of test fleets suitable for controlled evaluation of tyres to assess the product performance as per guidelines
4. Develop good rapport with customers to ensure test condition adherence throughout the test, timely fitment, periodic maintenance of vehicle & availability for inspection.
5. Periodic inspection of test tyres, statistical analysis, compilation, and reporting with key observations & comments.
6. Analysis and feedback of the performance of all categories of tyres and ensure that the corrective steps are implemented on time to maintain leadership position
7. Close watch on competitor activities, of new tyre development, performance, modifications, launches, service etc.
8. Field engineering studies of various tyre properties and behaviour in service condition for R&D purpose
9. Very good knowledge of Commercial vehicles / suspension systems/ vehicle alignment / mechanical checks and relation of vehicle dynamics to tyre wear
10. Good understanding of tyre duty cycle and implication on tyre wear and durability. Knowledge of use of sensors, TPMS, axle load sensor & GPS, installation, and monitoring
11. Assist in developing/validating retread/regroove standards /products/accessories, as an interface between customer and product groups to enable 360 solutions
12. Initiate continuous improvement plan to meet changing customer requirements and organizational needs aimed at total customer satisfaction and highest market realization
13. Willing to fulfil the demands of the job, Extensive travel to cover vast area of the testing ground.
14. Wiling to relocate to any part of the country as part of testing ground.

Skills :
1. Sound knowledge in vehicle level product testing, knowledge in vehicle dynamics, Wheel alignment basics.
2. Basic knowledge in tyre mechanics, tyre technology, retreading, data analytics & statistics.
3. Mid-Level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft power apps, Tire check ,Microsoft PPT.
4. Communication in English & Regional language with influential presentation skills.
5. A lateral thinker with statistical analysis skill, Keen observational, analytical skills
6. Passion to work in field with R&D mind set up Eligibility

Relevant Experience :
Min 5 yrs experience in testing/technology/field engineering/ technical service/ Commercial Vehicle Service
