Application Engineer - R&D

Your Tasks

Understand customer technical product requirement and perform basic calculation for product mapping.Preparation of technical product proposal for customers and support project acquisition activities with Business development team
Prepare 2D/3D concept drawings Prepare Bill of Material for Suspension components i.e Dampers, Chassis links
Ensure customers approval has been obtained vis-a- vis application Engineering proposals / product drawings /samples and maintain close relationship with customers engineering management.
Provide technical support for local purchase, Proto making, Manufacturing and QA team for New Product Development. Managing new product validation, preparation of DVPR, co- ordinate testing with global test centers, deriving test procedure duty cycle etc.
Coordinate internal/customer Change management/ECM activities for PlantFailure investigation of product on vehicle within warranty and support QA team for root cause analysis

Your Profile

BE Mechanical /automobile with 1 to 4 years of experience in commercial vehicle/ suspension aggregates system.
Good knowledge in Creo and PLM system.
Customer relationship development skills.
Good command of written and spoken in English.
