Application Support Engineer

Job Description

1. Manage large amounts of data using MSSQL, MYSQL and MS EXCEL.

2. Support and manage various in-house developed applications as an administrator.

3. Generate MIS Reports for various applications.

4. Document processes and monitor application performance metrics.

5. Ensure effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.

6. Provide front-end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.

7. Consult with the software development team, internal users to improve application performance.

8. Manage code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.

9. Establish the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns.

10. Keep a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.

Required Skills & Experience -

1. Qualification - MCA / M.Sc.(IT) / B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc.(IT)

2. Certificate in MS EXCEL, MSSQL, MySQL, PHP. Power BI will be a plus

3. 2-4 Years of relevant experience

4. Practical Experience in Databases (MSSQL, MYSQL etc.)

5. Experience in Application Support & Ticketing Tools

6. Experience with MIS Reports and MS Excel. Willingness to learn and share knowledge Required

7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

8. Excellent communication skills

Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor application performance.
