Summary:As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve working with Java Enterprise Edition, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL), Microsoft Azure DevOps, and PySpark.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java Enterprise Edition applications.- Develop and maintain Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL) code for database operations.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of software solutions.- Manage the software development lifecycle using Microsoft Azure DevOps.- Utilize PySpark for data processing and analysis.Highly motivated person required for deep analysis of On-Prem Java + PLSQL Based code and transform it into Spark SQL.- Code optimization and removal of staging or intermediate temporary tables.- Transform the logic into Spark SQL based transformations.- Write efficient and fast performing Spark SQL code.- Deployment in Azure Cloud.- Data validation and benchmarking
Professional & Technical Skills:- Must To Have Skills:Java Enterprise Edition, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL), Microsoft Azure DevOps, PySpark.- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.- Experience with software testing and quality assurance.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful software solutions.
