Sample Collection and Processing : Collect and receive patient samples such as blood, urine, tissue specimens, and other bodily fluids for analysis . Prepare samples, perform initial processing, and ensure proper storage conditions . Diagnostic Testing and Analysis : Perform a variety of laboratory tests using specialized equipment and techniques, including hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and molecular diagnostics . Analyze test results to identify abnormalities, diseases, or conditions . Quality Assurance and Compliance : Ensure adherence to laboratory quality control standards and regulatory requirements (such as CLIA, CAP, etc . ) . Maintain accuracy, precision, and reliability of test results by following standardized protocols . Instrumentation and Equipment Maintenance : Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting as needed .
