Role Overview:
- We are seeking a Senior Manager in Business Development to play a mission-critical role in growing Apollo's platform and extending our network with key FinTech players.
- This high-impact role will focus on developing partnerships, handling B2B client onboarding, and driving Apollo's business goals in close collaboration with operations and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead relationship development with potential partners, ensuring alignment of objectives, priorities, and resources between partners and Apollo.
- Plan, execute, and oversee new partnership initiatives.
- Identify and research organizations and individuals to discover partnership opportunities.
- Set and achieve growth goals for the business development team, supporting Apollo's expansion.
- Drive the sales aspect of B2B client onboarding on our platform.
- Build and present proposals, business projections, and presentations to secure funding and partnership deals.
- Collaborate actively with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximize opportunities and operational synergy.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 4-5 years in the FinTech or lending sector with prior B2B business development experience preferred.
Educational Background: A solid educational foundation, with a preference for candidates from reputable institutions.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, essential for managing both internal and external relationships.
Entrepreneurial Drive: Demonstrated ability to independently execute ideas from start to finish.
Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills and a knack for breaking down complex problems to root causes.
Decision Making: Ability to make confident decisions even with incomplete information.
Organization: Highly organized, with meticulous note-taking and multitasking skills.
Interest in FinTech: Passion for the FinTech ecosystem, including a strong understanding of market competitors and regulatory landscape.
Capital Sourcing: Experience in sourcing debt and equity capital from investors is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Keen ability to scrutinize legal agreements when working with FinTechs and third-party providers.
Preferred Skills:
- Team management experience.
