Job Description

Director - MLE, Policy Advocacy- Need Diversity candidates only_ Remote

- Advocacy at Central and State level

- Work with MOHFW, ABDM, NHA, Niti Ayog, National Health Programs, CDAC and other key Government Stakeholders, supporting and doing evidence-based advocacy for Telemedicine initiatives.

- Support State Program Managers in the advocacy and liasoning with the State Government Stakeholders in the implementation states.

- Maintain collaborative relationships developed with Government stakeholders for substantiating the mission of the organization

- Supporting Government stakeholders developing frameworks, guidelines, tools etc for effective implementation of telemedicine services

- Communicating effectively the objectives, goals and achievements of the organization with the Government stakeholders.

- Nurture long-term trusting relationships with Government stakeholders for each of our projects

- Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning:

- Supportive supervision to the Director MEL for effective management and implementation of MEL activities

- Developing workplans for the MEL activities and ensuring the MEL activities are delivered within the timelines in quality manner.

- Providing inputs in the designing of MEL activities from the policy, advocacy perspective.

- Supporting MEL team in developing the quality contents for the advocacy tools such as scientific publications, research articles, white papers etc.

- Building capacity of the MEL team in effective planning, execution of the MEL activities.

Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:

- Work collaboratively with the internal stakeholders such as MLE, Technology, Partnerships, Clinical, for identifying areas for advocacy, policy influencing etc.

- Support different departments with respect to advocacy and Government relationship building work for substantiating the organization objectives.

- Ensure advocacy efforts and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies

- Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations

- Be an external presence that publishes and communicates program results at conferences, events and through impactful reports.

- Collaborate with partnership team to engage with donors, advocate for scale up and follow on funding

- Supporting Conducive Policy Environment for Telemedicine, AI and Digital health initiatives.

- Support legal teams in telemedicine policy analysis related work

- Be updated on the policy environment and ecosystem in India and other countries related to Telemedicine, AI, and Digital Health Initiatives.

- Identify the opportunities on supporting Government on the policy framework, guidelines and work with internal stakeholders to support Government

- Support the partnership and fundraising department to Develop new partnerships, proposals and budgets for new programs, as and when required.

- Support the partnerships teams in donor engagement and nurturing relationships as required.

Skill Set:

- Proven experience in the development sector, preferably with government projects

- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and method

- Excellent knowledge of monitoring & evaluation techniques and key metrics

- Work experience in digital health and telemedicine, ideally, working closely with product development, testing, and ideation

- A business acumen with a strategic ability

- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication skills - fluency in English and Hindi

- Proven ability to manage professional relationships and to work under pressure strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

- Committed to achieving results and proven perseverance to reach goals

- Strategic thinker, action-oriented, entrepreneurial, highly adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning

- An engaging and collaborative leadership style

- Willingness to travel to project locations 40% of the time, including international travel
