We are seeking an experienced Country Sales Head to lead and expand presence in India, with a particular focus on the GCC market. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned sales leader adept at complex, high-stakes negotiations, developing scalable strategies, and fostering growth. The role involves building and guiding a high-performing sales team, managing strategic client relationships, and achieving ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Lead, strategize, and execute sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue targets in the India market, focusing on the GCC sector.
- Design and implement sales tactics to capture new market opportunities and expand them to reach.
- Large Deal Ownership: Take direct responsibility for securing and closing large, complex deals with Global Capability Centres (GCCs), overseeing all stages of the sales cycle.
- Strategic Market Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company growth objectives, identifying key opportunities and potential clients across India and GCC regions.
- Executive Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers in GCCs, establishing company as a trusted strategic partner.
- High-Impact Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team while personally leading critical negotiations for large, high-stakes deals.
- Market Insight & Adaptation: Monitor and analyze market trends, client needs, and the competitive landscape within the GCC ecosystem, adjusting sales tactics as necessary to optimize success and relevance.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide timely and accurate forecasts, pipeline updates, and insights to the leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: 15+ years in IT sales, specializing in Global Capability Centers (GCCs) and large enterprise deals.
- Large Deal Expertise: Demonstrated success in closing multi-million-dollar deals with complex sales cycles and senior decision-makers.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the IT services industry, with a focus on GCC operations and technology solutions
- Sales and Negotiations Skills: Exceptional ability to lead complex negotiations, deliver impactful presentations, and guide enterprise-level sales engagements
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive a sales team while maintaining personal responsibility for key deals.
- Travel: Willingness to travel across India and globally, as required, to engage with clients and pursue sales opportunities.
