SAP Basis Lead Consultant

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Basis Lead Consultant to manage, support, and optimize SAP landscapes for our clients. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SAP S/4HANA, system migrations, upgrades, performance tuning, and leadership abilities to guide a team of consultants.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP Basis operations, ensuring system stability, performance, and scalability.
• Oversee and execute SAP S/4HANA migrations, upgrades, and installations in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to a team of SAP Basis consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to SAP landscapes, databases, and operating systems.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design and implement high-performing, secure, and compliant SAP environments.
• Manage SAP systems like ECC, S/4HANA, PI/PO, BW, Solution Manager, and other NetWeaver components.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, including role and authorization management.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, system monitoring, and high-availability solutions.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present detailed project plans, progress reports, and system health assessments to stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 12+ years of SAP Basis experience
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA migrations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of SAP systems administration, including SAP PI/PO, BW, and Solution Manager.
• Hands-on experience with system performance tuning, database optimization, and SAP kernel upgrades.
• Experience with SAP security, including role creation, authorization management, and GRC integration.
• Proficiency in managing SAP landscapes in cloud environments (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
• Deep understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows) and databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Strong project management and team leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
