Roles and Responsibilities

Given below are some of the financial analyst roles and responsibilities:

• Partner with various management leads and Go-To-Market teams to develop and maintain accurate budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring business objectives align.
• Compile and analyse financial reports, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements, presenting findings to management and key stakeholders.
• Develop effective financial models to support business planning and long-term projections.
• Build strong relationships and support investor relations by providing financial data, responding to inquiries, and participating in meetings with investors and stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate and improve financial analysis methodologies, tools, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Financial Analyst Qualifications and Requirements.

The financial analyst job profile includes the following skills and requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience.
• Prior experience in high-growth multinational companies, consulting, private equity/venture capital, investment banking, strategic planning, product strategy, or other fast-paced environment.
• Professional Qualification – bachelor’s in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, CA/CMA/CFA/MBA) is a plus.
• (Preferred) Experience and passion for financial systems and tools, including large ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, translate it into actionable steps, and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
• Sound analytical and advanced skills in Excel (Data models, advanced functions, etc.), G-Suite, and PowerPoint—ability to convert huge data to meaningful data insights.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player who can collaborate and influence the organization, including senior leadership.
