CA Industrial Trainee (Internal Audit)

Role & responsibilities:

• Audit Planning: Assist in the preparation of audit plans and programs, identifying key areas of risk.
• Execution of Audits: Participate in the execution of internal audits, including financial, operational, and compliance audits. Audit of various process like procurement to Pay, Order to Cash, Finance & Accounts, Capex, HR, Plant operation audit etc. May have to visit plant location for audit purpose.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of concern.
• Process Review: Review and assess the adequacy of internal controls over financial reporting and operational processes.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed working papers to document the audit work performed, ensuring they meet internal audit standards.
• Report Drafting: Assist in drafting audit reports, summarizing key findings, and making recommendations for improvement.
• Follow-up: Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and report on progress to management.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Risk Assessment: Support the team in risk assessment activities and help in identifying emerging risks.

• Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
