Job Summary:
The ERP Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business growth for ERP solutions, specifically Odoo and Zoho. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their business needs, presenting tailored ERP solutions, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
Identify, target, and engage potential clients for ERP solutions.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business goals.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client needs.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and digital outreach.
Prepare and deliver compelling ERP solution presentations and demos.
2. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Understand client requirements and provide customized ERP solutions.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
Ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
3. Solution Consulting & Pre-Sales Support:
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure feasibility of ERP solutions.
Work closely with pre-sales and consulting teams to address client concerns.
Provide inputs for solution customization based on business requirements.
Stay updated on ERP features, functionalities, and industry best practices.
Coordinate with the Pre-Sales team for requirement understanding, demo, effort estimation, proposal, and proof of concept.
4. Strategic Growth & Expansion:
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for ERP services.
Identify opportunities for business expansion in Tier 2 cities and beyond.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking conferences.
Partner with internal teams to enhance product offerings and service delivery.
5. Reporting & Performance Analysis:
Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Track KPIs such as lead conversion, revenue growth, and client acquisition.
Provide regular business updates to leadership.
Key Requirements:
1. Education & Experience:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
5+ years of experience in ERP Sales / Business Development.
Experience with Odoo, Zoho, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP platforms is a plus.
2. Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of ERP solutions and business processes.
Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to engage with CXOs, IT heads, and decision-makers.
Problem-solving mindset with a consultative sales approach.
Proficiency in CRM tools and sales automation software.
3. Additional Preferences:
Experience working with Indian clients and Tier 2 companies.
Knowledge of integrations with third-party applications and business intelligence tools.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
