Business Analyst- API

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements for API development and integration projects
• Analysis and Documentation: Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical documentation for API solutions
• API Design: Work closely with development teams to design and validate API specifications, ensuring they meet business needs and technical standards
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to validate API functionality, performance, and security
• Ensure APIs meet quality standards and align with business objectives
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating clear and effective communication
• Project Management: Support project management activities, including timeline development, progress tracking, and risk management, to ensure successful project delivery
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of API development and integration practices
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on API usage and best practices

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience in requirements management and documentation. Knowledge of agile methodologies and product development lifecycle. Familiarity with business process analysis and improvement techniques. Preferred Experience: Previous experience as a Tech Lead or similar role. Understanding of the technology and business landscape related to the product offerings. Experience with testing and quality assurance processes
