INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
Global Sales and Marketing Support team supports Aon business units across geographies with research, analytics, marketing, proposal support and operational support to client delivery. Its mission is to provide Aon sales, marketing and strategy teams with the information, analysis, and insight necessary to make informed decisions across business development, client delivery and strategy.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE :
Incumbent would be responsible to support international stakeholder(s) based out of Aon's London office and will be part of sales support team for the Reinsurance division based out of Aon India's Bangalore office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- We are looking for an experienced Re/Insurance professional with a demonstrated history of working with stakeholders across value chain i.e. brokers, clients and markets (external), C-levels in the re/insurance underwriting world.
- The role supports growth of international business and white labelled insurance solutions. P&C insurance industry experience in underwriting or broking or bancassurance is essential.
- Ideal candidate is someone who can close opportunities and service them on an ongoing basis.
- Should have the capability to think through all options and keeping broking conversations moving, without seeking much direction.
- Ability to prioritise broking activities to close opportunities and not get submerged into operational activities which are often generated in day to day running of the team.
- The candidate is measured by number of opportunities closed and how deep his/her input/role has been in it, number of e-mails, communication outside the internal organisation.
- The candidate would need to be aware of changing market appetites to serve client opportunities.
- Good verbal and written communication is a must to be successful in this role.
- Should be confident to deal with clients and markets abroad and drive the outcomes required from broking perspective.
- Assessing prospective clients' background information and financial status
- Liaise with specialists to gather information and opinions.
- Helping clients' negotiate and define the specific terms of policies
- Structuring programs per clients' business plans and market trends
- Organize meetings with internal/external stakeholders.
- Support Underwriting, Data analysis, Market Study, Risk management, Documentation, Slip condition finalization, Able to read and comprehend Cat modelling reports/Risk Exposure Analysis,
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

- Ability to communicate and write client conversations succinctly.
- Analytical problem- solver, able to assess risk and provide sound risk management solutions to clients.
- Proven experience of working with P&C re/insurance / international broking teams
- Proven numeracy and statistical skills
- Sensible judgement and attention to detail
- Confident decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to build positive relationships Skilled in building excellent rapport with clients, brokers and team members and key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of key Reinsurance concepts, reading financial statements, familiar with operating models of MGA, ILS, Lloyd's of London
- Efficient in MS Office tools (Advanced skills in MS Powerpoint and Excel)
- Comfortable with industry databases (Axco, S&P, AM Best)
