Identify potential capacity constraints based on historical trends / forecast reports
Ability to guide Capacity Planners for developing new capacity plans
Good exposure of using ServiceNow, Splunk, and any other monitoring tools
Proven track record of Capacity Management practices involving capacity optimization
Efficient to create capacity reports and provide insights to our stakeholders
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills to be able to articulate key messages
Can influence stakeholders to ensure Capacity in front of mind
What will you bring
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Hands-on experience in Application Delivery / Support managing critical assets / function
Good analytical / problem-solving skills are must for reading key metrics (CPU, MEM DISK) charts and reports
Strong process orientation and demonstrated ability to define and document new or improved capacity management processes, templates and tools
Responsible for monitoring IT availability levels, comparing actual levels against targets and addressing shortfalls
Build and present comprehensive Capacity Availability reports dashboards on IT infrastructure aspects
Provide trend analysis and present improvement plans specific to performance and capacity of infrastructure
Good to have knowledge, skills and experiences:
ITIL V4 Certified Professional
Proficient in building dashboards through basic macros and reporting using Excel
Exposure in using any analytics and reporting tools
Understanding of IT Automation / Tools and Cloud Services (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.,)
Capabilities:
Drives improvement opportunity session with senior stakeholders related to release management
Building and maintain strong internal customer relationships is essential
Excellent verbal and written communication, prioritization, negotiation, presentation, collaboration and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust and influence change at all levels
