About The Role :

As a Cloud Engineer in our DBO Platform Squad/DBO Domain you'll play a key role in helping to Support DBO platform level applications.

This role manages the tribe backlog, working closely with others to prioritise work, manage interdependencies and distil features to epics.

TPLs define what success looks like for the tribe and then measure their progress against that.

In some cases, this role will also manage a chapter of Product Owners.

What will your day look like?

- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable infrastructure using technologies such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Codefresh, Jenkins and Salesforce CI/CD tools.

- Configure and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, ensuring best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization.

- Monitor and troubleshoot production environments, utilizing monitoring tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus, and Splunk for proactive identification and resolution of issues.

- Develop and maintain scripts using bash, Python, and other scripting languages to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency

What will you bring ?

- To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Strong experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Cloud.

- Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus, and Splunk.

- Solid scripting skills in bash and Python for automation and infrastructure management.

- In-depth knowledge of YAML file format and its use in configuration management.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Codefresh, Jenkins, Salesforce CI/CD tools, or similar.

- Experience in automating Salesforce application deployments and release management.

- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule.

- Relevant certifications (e.g , AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Salesforce certifications) are a plus.
