Senior Associate - Corporate/M&A/Banking/Infrastructure - Law Firm (4-7 yrs)

A leading corporate law team in Delhi is looking to hire a Senior Associate (4-7 years PQE) with expertise in M&A, private equity, banking & finance, infrastructure, and general corporate transactions. This role offers an opportunity to lead high-value deals, advise marquee clients, and work closely with senior leadership on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading and managing M&A, private equity, venture capital, and corporate restructuring transactions.

- Advising clients in banking & finance, including structured finance, project finance, debt transactions, and security documentation.

- Handling regulatory and strategic advisory in energy, infrastructure, real estate, and financial services.

- Negotiating and drafting shareholder agreements, investment agreements, financing documents, and complex commercial contracts.

- Advising clients on corporate governance, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Assisting clients in bidding for government contracts, regulatory clearances, and sector-specific compliance.

- Managing and mentoring junior team members, ensuring seamless transaction execution.

Ideal Candidate:

- 4-7 years of post-qualification experience at a reputed law firm in corporate, M&A, private equity, banking & finance, or infrastructure transactions.

- Strong experience in structuring and executing high-value transactions.

- Deep understanding of sectoral regulations, investment structuring, and financing models in energy, infrastructure, and financial services.

- Ability to independently manage transactions and interact with senior stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and institutional clients.

- Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.

- Experience handling cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional advisory is a plus.
