Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

ANOR (www.anor.in) is seeking a Junior Accountant who will assist in managing the day-to-day tasks for online store, ensuring the accuracy of online purchase, inventory listing, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in accounting, e-commerce, and retail while contributing to the growth of our luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting and Daily Tally Management:

○ Enter daily financial transactions into Tally ERP, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with Shopify sales data.

○ Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.

2. Product Pricing and Analysis:

○ Update and review product pricing on Shopify, ensuring profitability and alignment with ANORs pricing strategy.

○ Conduct cost analysis for new products and provide insights on pricing adjustments based on sales performance and market trends.

3. Inventory and Sales Tracking:

○ Monitor stock levels, coordinate inventory replenishment, and generate sales and inventory reports to optimize performance.

○ Track inventory turnover and flag low-stock or overstocked items for action.

4. Compliance and Reporting:

○ Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparing tax filings and audit reports.

○ Generate financial summaries and insights using Tally and Shopify data for decision-making.

Qualifications:

● Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

● 2-3 years in accounting, preferably in e-commerce or retail.

● Proficiency in retail software, inventory management systems, and reporting tools.

● Familiar with online payment systems, sales tax, and inventory listing & management.

● Strong focus on accuracy in financial records and inventory reconciliation.

● Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
