Data Engineer

Role Overview: As a Data Engineer Fresher, you will work closely with experienced data engineers and other team members to support the creation, maintenance, and optimization of data infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience in building data pipelines, performing data integration tasks, and ensuring data quality for various business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to process and store large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
• Write efficient and optimized queries to extract and transform data from different sources.
• Participate in ensuring data quality and consistency across multiple datasets.
• Help in automating data collection, data transformation, and reporting processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintain and update documentation related to data infrastructure and processes.
• Learn and apply best practices for data engineering, including data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of databases, SQL, and data structures.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for data.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills (Not mandatory):

• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
