Senior Data Engineer - SQL/Python (5-12 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in data engineering, hands-on experience with Python, and proficiency in SQL for crafting and optimizing complex queries. This role requires familiarity with Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP) and a solid understanding of data modeling, cloud platforms, and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Data Engineering : Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Python.

- Data Integration : Work with structured and unstructured data to support analytics and business requirements.

- Adobe RTCDP Expertise : Leverage Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform to implement customer data solutions.

- Complex Query Management : Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for various use cases.

- Cloud Platforms : Utilize AWS and Azure cloud services effectively; GCP experience is a plus.

- Programming Knowledge : Apply JavaScript/programming expertise to enhance data processes.

- Data Governance : Contribute to data modeling, data cataloging, and the management of data assets.

- Domain Experience : Work on projects related to AdTech or MarTech, leveraging prior experience if applicable.

- Project Management : Actively participate in Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

- Communication : Collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in Python with hands-on data engineering experience.

- Proficiency in SQL (read/write complex queries).

- Hands-on experience with Adobe RTCDP.

- Knowledge of JavaScript/programming languages.

- Familiarity with data modeling and data cataloging tools.

Cloud Expertise :

- Experience with AWS and Azure; GCP is a bonus.

- Agile Methodology : Proven experience in Agile project management practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Domain knowledge in AdTech or MarTech.

- Experience handling large-scale datasets with a focus on optimization and scalability.
