Chartered Accountant with 10-15 years of industry experience

Title: Chartered Accountant (10-15Years Experience)

The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years experience in the financial function as relevant for the role of a Financial Controller. Experience of having worked in finance function of a publicly listed company will be desirable. As a Financial Controller, the incumbent will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. He/she will be a key partner to the executive team, providing financial insights that drive strategic decisions and operational excellence. More specifically, the incumbents responsibilities will be:

1. Financial Statements and various Audits – Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit, IT System Audit o Responsible for preparation and finalisation of financial statement, and get it Audited o Preparation and finalisation of notes to accounts o Completion of Internal Audits, ERP Audit, general controls o Preparation of tax accounts and completion of Tax Audit o Regular compliance of all applicable laws, acts (GST etc) and getting Audit completed o Oversee similar activities for one of the Associated company based out of Bengaluru

2. Financial Accounting, Management & Reporting: o Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. o Oversee financial performance metrics and implement systems to enhance efficiency. o Management accounting at the company level, including finalization of P&Ls & cash flow. o All aspects of reporting under IND AS, ensuring compliance of all activities with the company’s financial policy & procedures, including those arising out of business combinations, divestitures, accounts, transitional reporting etc.

3. Compliance & Risk Management: o Ensure adherence to local statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, TDS, and corporate tax filings. o Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. o Ensuring tax returns, appeals, compliance, tax deduction at source, tax implications of various contracts, deferred tax, tax reporting, implications under double taxation avoidance agreements and an understanding of potential tax issues. Ability to appear for hearings and represent company’s interests, advice on all tax related issues, to businesses and operations.

4. Strategic Support: o Collaborate with the leadership team to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives. o Provide data-driven insights for pricing strategies, cost optimization, and investment decisions. o Fixation of transfer prices for intercompany purchases in compliance with the company’s internal guidelines on transfer prices, and from transfer pricing rules and regulations under Indian Income Tax perspective.

5. Team Leadership: o Lead finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. o Build robust financial systems to support the company’s expansion plans and align the organizational structure.

6. Others: o Support in delivering on commercial issues on a day-to-day basis, company secretarial function, and statutory compliances o Conceptualizing systems requirements, systems implementation, system improvements in collaboration with the IT/IS function.

7. Role in Parent Company o Active role in contributing strategic initiatives taken at group level, such as acquisitions, mergers, restructuring, treasury needs etc. Candidate should be willing to travel to corporate office based out of Goa wherever required to participate and contribute the strategic activities.

Qualifications & Skills: • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. •

15+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a publicly listed company • Strong understanding of IND AS, Income tax laws, GST, and other compliance frameworks. • Proficient in SAP is must • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
