About the Role:

We are looking for an Excel Expert with a strong background in finance to help streamline reporting, automate routine processes, and enhance data analysis capabilities. The ideal candidate should be proficient in advanced Excel functions and should be able to identify repetitive tasks to improve efficiency. Knowledge of VBA Macros is not mandatory, but the ability to implement automation using formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Data Management: Work with large datasets, clean and organize financial data for reporting and decision-making.
• Excel Automation: Identify repetitive manual tasks and implement automation using Excel formulas, Power Query, and other tools.
• Report Preparation: Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and MIS reports.
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Create dynamic reports, trend analysis, and insights for management using Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Charts.
• Process Optimization: Work closely with finance teams to understand their processes and suggest improvements.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with finance professionals to integrate Excel solutions with other financial tools (e.g., ERP, Tally, SAP, or accounting software).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, Power Query, etc.).
• Understanding of finance/accounting concepts (e.g., P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Hands-on experience in preparing financial models, MIS reports, and variance analysis.
• Ability to identify routine processes and improve efficiency through Excel automation.
• Knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, and basic SQL is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of VBA Macros is good to have but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with finance teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in working with finance teams in industries like BFSI, consulting, or corporate finance.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally) or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
