Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple automation projects, guiding them from the initial concept phase through to successful execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
• Conduct site visits to suppliers as needed to oversee progress and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Design and implement automation solutions for CNC, Manual Traub, Grinding, and Rolling machines.
• Utilize design software (AutoCAD, 3D modelling) to create and modify project designs (added advantage)
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance automation strategies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in automation.
• Experience in supplier management and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
