Tool Room Incharge

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tool Room Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, and operation of the tool room. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SolidWorks or CAM software and a deep understanding of tooling, machining, and manufacturing processes. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team and ensure efficient production support. We have multiple CNC and manual machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Tool Room Operations:
  Oversee daily operations of the tool room, ensuring tools, molds, and dies are maintained, repaired, and stored properly.
• CAD/CAM Expertise:
  Utilize SolidWorks or CAM software for designing, modifying, and managing tool designs, jigs, fixtures, and components as per project requirements.
• Team Management:
  Supervise and coordinate the activities of toolmakers, machinists, and support staff, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  Ensure timely maintenance of tools and equipment, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to ensure tooling requirements align with production goals and standards.
• Inventory Management:
  Maintain an organized inventory of tools, raw materials, and spare parts, ensuring availability and minimizing wastage.
• Process Improvement:
  Identify and implement process improvements to enhance tool-making efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall quality.
• Compliance:
  Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies in tool room operations.
