Consultant Audiologist

The Audiometrist is responsible for conducting hearing assessments, performing audiometric tests, and assisting in the diagnosis of hearing-related conditions. They work closely with audiologists, ENT specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate testing and appropriate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry tests.

Assess and document patients hearing levels and prepare detailed reports.

Explain test procedures to patients and ensure their comfort during assessments.

Maintain and calibrate audiometric equipment regularly.

Collaborate with audiologists and ENT specialists for further diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

Provide preliminary counseling to patients regarding test results and hearing conservation.

Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality as per healthcare regulations.

Follow safety and infection control protocols in the diagnostic laboratory setting.
