Sap Edi Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP EDI Solution Delivery Consultant to manage and deliver all EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) solutions for markets across EMEA. This role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing business needs, and ensuring seamless integration of solutions into SAP systems. The consultant will also oversee deployment, provide training, and support post-implementation processes to drive operational excellence and business continuity.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and lead meetings with stakeholders, BRMs, customers, external partners, and solution vendors to collect and configure new business models and "to-be" processes.
• Ensure minimal disruption to existing operations during the implementation of new processes.
• Collaborate with the Order Management (OM) team and IT Business Analysts (IT BAs) to identify and analyze local requirements for the Order Management process.
• Translate business requirements into actionable IT implementation specifications and mapping documents.
• Work closely with the vendor (IBM) to deploy and test SAP EDI/OCR solutions.
• Ensure the seamless integration of new functionalities within the existing SAP framework.
• Conduct Extended Key User Training on newly implemented SAP processes and EDI/OCR functionalities.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for all new functionalities, ensuring availability for future reference.
• Measure and report on Master Data efficiency within the IBM Hub.
• Provide technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), migration plans, and migration reports.
• Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure functionality meets business requirements.
• Address and resolve issues identified during UAT execution to maintain project timelines.
• Support go-live activities, including weekends, to ensure a smooth transition to the new processes.
• Provide hypercare support after go-live to address any business or technical concerns and ensure user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in SAP EDI/OCR solution delivery, with a focus on Order Management and EMEA market-specific processes.
• Proven expertise in working with SAP systems and vendor collaboration, preferably IBM solutions.
• Hands-on experience with UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution.
• Strong understanding of SAP EDI configurations, processes, and related tools.
• Familiarity with Master Data management principles and reporting tools.
