SAP BW Experience (5-7 years) : The candidate must have a solid background in SAP BW (Business Warehouse), with specific hands-on experience of at least 5 years.

BW/4HANA Consultant (3+ years) : Out of that, at least 3 years should be in SAP BW/4HANA, which is the latest version and is crucial for advanced modeling and data processing tasks.

2. Implementation Experience :

1-2 Full Lifecycle Implementations : The candidate should have completed at least one or two end-to-end implementations of SAP BW/4HANA, meaning they were involved from the blueprint stage to post-go-live support.

3. Project Lifecycle Experience :

Various Phases : Must have worked across various stages such as :

- Blueprint (project design)

- Gap analysis (identifying areas needing customization)

- Customization, development, testing

- Go-live & post-go-live support (ensuring smooth operation post-deployment).

4. Technical Skills :

BW and BW/4HANA Modelling : The JD emphasizes the need for strong experience in modeling, both in BW (classic) and BW/4HANA (modern). They need to be skilled at creating complex data models using hybrid modeling techniques (combining data from different sources and technologies).

BW 7.5 and BW/4HANA Solutions : Candidate must have experience in designing BW solutions using both older (BW 7.5) and newer technologies (BW/4HANA).

Data Modeling & Development : Should be proficient in BW/4HANA data modeling with SAP S/4HANA as a data source (indicating strong integration between SAP's transactional and analytics environments).

5. SAP HANA Modelling :

ERP Modules : Exposure to SAP HANA modeling on key SAP ERP modules like Finance, Sales & Distribution, Material Management, and Purchasing is needed. This indicates integration and development across business-critical modules.

6. BW on HANA Specific Modelling :

LSA++ : Experience in Layered Scalable Architecture (LSA++), an advanced architecture for efficient and scalable data flow in BW/4HANA.

Composite Providers & HANA Views : Skills in composite providers (combining BW objects and external data sources) and exposing BW objects in HANA views are expected.

Advanced DSO (DataStore Objects) : Should be proficient with advanced DSO to optimize data storage and retrieval.

7. Bex Queries & Data Flow Migration :

Bex Queries : Extensive work on Bex (Business Explorer) queries, which are a vital part of BW reporting.

Migration to HANA : Must have migrated old BW data flows to HANA-optimized data flows, ensuring improved performance.

Open ODS Views : Developing Open ODS views to integrate external data into BW/4HANA is also crucial.
