Architect

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Architect to design and develop dynamic, functional, and aesthetically sophisticated spaces for our wealth management firm. As an Architect in our firm, you will be responsible for designing office environments that reflect our brand identity, provide a professional atmosphere for client meetings, and create a comfortable and efficient workspace for our staff. The ideal candidate will have an eye for high-end design, a strong understanding of corporate functionality, and the ability to work closely with senior leadership to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Conceptualization: Lead the design process for the office environment, ensuring that spaces are optimized for client-facing meetings, employee productivity, and brand identity. This includes boardrooms, meeting rooms, private offices, open-plan workspaces, and client lounges.
• Client-Centric Design: Develop designs that enhance the client experience, providing an environment that conveys trust, professionalism, and comfort while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
• Space Planning: Develop space plans that improve workflow, communication, and efficiency while fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Ensure effective use of space to support both operational needs and the client-facing nature of the business.
• Material and Aesthetic Selection: Choose high-quality materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with the firms brand identity and elevate the overall design, creating a sophisticated and inviting environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs comply with all safety regulations, building codes, zoning laws, and any other relevant standards.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with senior leadership, interior designers, and contractors to execute the vision from concept to completion. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and ensuring the design aligns with business objectives.
• Sustainability & Efficiency: Incorporate sustainable design principles where applicable to create energy-efficient, eco-friendly office spaces.
• Vendor Management: Liaise with contractors and suppliers, oversee the procurement of materials, and manage the execution of designs in accordance with the approved plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Knowledge of commercial or corporate architecture, particularly for professional services firms (e.g., finance, law, or wealth management).
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in designing high-end office spaces with a focus on both client interaction areas and staff work environments.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar programs.
• Strong understanding of office design trends, functional space planning, and the use of technology in modern office environments.
• Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and health and safety regulations.
• Professional certification/licensure (e.g., AIA, NCARB) preferred but not required.
