Internal Audit Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Formulating the plan and strategy for internal audits/ concurrent audits for the organization.
• Keep an eye on how the RBI policies / Regulation are being implemented.
• Perform walkthrough with business and function teams to understand the processes and key controls in place
• Perform testing of various business, function areas, prepare test sheet, issue write up and report
• Perform regulatory required testing as required by regulatory bodies including RBI
• Support HIA in preparing the annual plan and execution through audit reports
• Track the issues for closure and the actions are remediated effectively
• Lead the audit assignment from planning, fieldwork testing, issue discussions and reporting
• Ensure that internal audits are effective in resolving non-compliance issues through remedial actions and report the results of internal audits to the audit committee.
• Assess the robustness, efficiency, and design of various processes
• Ensure timely preparation of Internal audits reports at regular intervals
• Testing Identify process lapses and make recommendations towards closure of design/process gaps and audit issues.
• Should be aware of RBI Regulations prevalent to NBFCs

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate Preferred with experience in Internal Audit of Banking/NBFC Sector.
