Process Control Associate

Responsibilities:

Process Optimization:
Implement the latest process control techniques for casting operations.
Work with the engineering team to analyze casting data and identify areas for improvement.
Continuously evaluate and modify casting methods based on findings.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize defects during casting.
Inspection and Quality Control:
Collaborate with the product specialist to define and implement required inspections at various stages of the casting process.
Conduct or oversee inspections as per established procedures.
Analyze inspection results and identify potential quality issues.
Report any deviations from specifications to the appropriate personnel.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Develop and maintain clear and concise SOPs for all casting processes.
Ensure SOPs are updated to reflect the latest techniques and procedures.
Train operators on SOPs and ensure adherence to documented standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the engineering team and product specialist to ensure alignment with design specifications and quality requirements.
Communicate effectively with operators and supervisors to ensure understanding of process requirements and problem-solving.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyze casting process data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare reports summarizing casting performance and defect rates.
