Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-Commerce Executive to join our marketing and digital sales team. This role will involve managing product listings, advertising campaigns, and sales optimization strategies across various e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Myntra, and the company's B2C website. The ideal candidate will be proficient in digital marketing, data analytics, SEO, and online sales growth, with a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and platform-specific requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


1. E-Commerce Platform Management:

  • Product Listing Optimization: Create and optimize product listings (descriptions, images, pricing, etc.) to maximize visibility and conversion rates across Amazon, Myntra, and other relevant e-commerce platforms.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely stock replenishment on e-commerce platforms.
  • Platform-Specific Strategy: Develop platform-specific strategies for each marketplace (Amazon, Myntra, etc.) considering their unique algorithms, best practices, and audience behavior.

2. Advertising & Campaign Management:

  • Paid Media Campaigns: Plan, execute, and optimize PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaigns on Amazon (Amazon Ads), Myntra, and other digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to drive targeted traffic and increase sales.
  • Promotions & Discounts: Design and manage promotions, seasonal sales, and discounts to drive customer acquisition and enhance brand visibility on e-commerce platforms.
  • A/B Testing: Run A/B tests on product titles, descriptions, and images, as well as ad creatives to improve conversion rates and overall campaign performance.

3. Sales & Performance Analysis:

  • Sales Analytics: Analyze sales performance data using platform analytics tools (Amazon Seller Central, Myntra Seller Portal, Google Analytics) to track and measure KPIs like sales volume, conversion rate, AOV (Average Order Value), CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), and ROI (Return on Investment).
  • Market Research: Conduct regular competitor and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in e-commerce strategies.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly reports on e-commerce performance, highlighting key insights, challenges, and opportunities for optimization.

4. SEO & Content Strategy:

  • SEO Optimization: Improve organic visibility by optimizing product listings for search engines within the e-commerce platforms (Amazon SEO, Myntra SEO). Conduct keyword research and integrate relevant terms into product titles, descriptions, and backend search terms.
  • Content Creation: Work closely with the content team to develop high-quality product descriptions, images, and videos that align with brand messaging and resonate with target audiences.
  • Customer Reviews & Feedback: Monitor customer feedback and reviews, ensuring timely responses and using insights to improve product listings and customer experience.

5. B2C Website Management:

  • Website Sales Strategy: Oversee the B2C websites sales strategy, ensuring that the site is fully optimized for conversions, user experience, and search engine visibility (SEO).
  • Web Analytics: Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and others to analyze web traffic, user behavior, and sales funnel performance.
  • Cross-Platform Integration: Ensure seamless integration of sales, inventory, and customer data between e-commerce platforms and the companys website.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Marketing & Product Teams: Work closely with the digital marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align product messaging, promotional campaigns, and customer experience strategies.
  • Brand Guidelines Compliance: Ensure that all e-commerce listings, ads, and website content are consistent with the companys brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, and sales optimization, preferably with exposure to Amazon, Myntra, and other key e-commerce platforms.

  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Strong knowledge of digital advertising strategies (PPC, social media ads, affiliate marketing) and performance analysis (CTR, CPA, CPC, ROAS, etc.).

  • SEO Expertise: Proficient in SEO strategies tailored for e-commerce platforms, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and optimization techniques for product listings.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret insights, and implement improvements based on performance metrics.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling product descriptions, ad copies, and customer-facing content.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with e-commerce platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Myntra Seller Portal), content management systems (CMS), web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar), and project management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.)

  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and logistics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Multiple Platforms: Experience managing listings and campaigns across multiple platforms (Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, etc.).
  • CRM & Email Marketing: Knowledge of CRM tools and email marketing platforms to nurture customer relationships and drive repeat sales.
  • B2C Website Management: Experience with managing a B2C website and integrating it with e-commerce marketplaces for a unified sales strategy.
