Job Description
- Manage the computing infrastructure provisioned in a computer lab Schedule and provision lab time tables in consultation with the faculty or time table coordinators from academic departments.
- Ensure that the necessary software is installed on all devices as per the requirements from the faculty or academic departments.
- Provide IT support to students including Level 1 support for WiFi connectivity issues, printing of documents and access to network services on the desktops.
- Ensure that the students conduct themselves in a diligent manner and report any misconduct to the appropriate authorities in writing.
- Provide IT support to non-academic departments as and when requested and approved by the Head ICTS.
- Ensure the physical and logical security of all eqipment installed in the labs.
- Ensure complainance to all mandatory provisions of statutory bodies (AICTE, UGC, NAAC, etc.). Maintain updated stock of all the assets in the lab
