Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with a strong understanding of Kerala Building Rules (KBR) to join Amrita Office of Public Relations team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed architectural, structural, and civil drawings as per Kerala s regulatory requirements.
- This role requires close attention to detail, technical proficiency, and familiarity with building regulations and standards specific to Kerala.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD software.
- Ensure all drawings comply with Kerala Building Rules (KBR) and other applicable regulations.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather necessary specifications and incorporate revisions.
- Create accurate building layouts, elevation plans, structural details, and site plans as per project requirements.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy and compliance with design standards.
- Maintain an organized record of all drawings, updates, and revisions.
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering, architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, preferably within Kerala.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- In-depth knowledge of Kerala Building Rules and local regulatory standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural and engineering designs.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with residential and commercial building projects in Kerala.
