Design Engineer (SolidWorks & AutoCAD)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with extensive experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating accurate 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings, with a particular focus on sheet metal design for laser cutting and bending processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the design, manufacturing, and production teams to produce high-quality drawings and ensure design accuracy, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in CAD design, with a focus on sheet metal design.
Good proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (required).
Proven experience designing components for laser cutting, CNC punching, and sheet metal bending processes.
Strong understanding of sheet metal materials, forming processes, and best practices.
Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and assembly instructions.
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles and their application in manufacturing.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
