Software Testing Engineer

Job Description:

Ample SofTech is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for IT support issues. The successful candidate will assist users with desktop-related technical issues, both locally and remotely, and deliver exceptional service across various platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand product requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated test scripts for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve the software.
• Conduct root cause analysis for bugs and defects to ensure effective resolutions.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test progress and results.
• Participate in software design reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
• Continuously improve testing processes and implement best practices.
