DGMS certified-Electrical Engineer For coal mining

1. Electrical Equipment Installation & Maintenance:

• Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in mines.
• Ensure proper functioning of electrical circuits, motors, transformers, switchgear, and lighting systems.

2. Compliance with DGMS Regulations:

• Ensure that electrical work complies with DGMS safety guidelines and the Mines Act.
• Participate in safety audits and inspections to ensure that electrical installations are safe and meet industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements in electrical safety protocols to prevent accidents and electrical hazards.

3. Safety Monitoring & Hazard Control:

• Supervise electrical safety operations, ensuring proper grounding, isolation of electrical circuits, and proper use of protective gear.
• Monitor the use of electrical equipment to avoid overloading or malfunction that may pose risks.
• Implement emergency shutdown procedures in case of electrical failures or hazards.
