Design and simulate photonic components and circuits. Knowledge of quantum photonics is desired. Deliver and execute assigned projects. Co-ordinate with external vendors and suppliers/Ability to collaborate internally and externally for PIC designing, fabrication, packaging, and testing. Use of simulation software like Synopsys, LUMERICAL to validate photonics designs. Experience photonics layout design tools, tape out (in GDS format) to fabrication. Coding using PYTHON.
Strong theoretical background in quantum physics and/or photonics Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Algorithms is a plus. Proposal of novel ideas along with their implementation strategy will be a plus. Excellent articulation and presentation skills. Proper documentation and professional file management will be required. Proven track record of published work will be a plus. Excellent communication skills

Qualifications: PhD Compl
eted/Passed Out in Photonics, Optics, Quantum Technologies or related fields.
Experience: Post PhD experience of Minimum 3+ years & ideally 5+ years of professional experience required in the relevent field.
Reporting: The Principal Photonics Engineer will report directly to the CTO of amPICQ.
