Urgently Hiring For Packing Head - Green Field Project

We are ungently hiring for Packing Head for one of the upcoming Green Field Project of Amneal , Ahmedabad .

Job Description :

To lead and manage all packing operations for injectable products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, achieving production targets, maintaining quality, and optimizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

• Plan, manage, and oversee all packing activities for injectable products to meet production schedules and business requirements.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and packaging of products in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor machine operations and ensure maximum utilization and efficiency of packing lines.

2. Quality and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to all cGMP, USFDA, MHRA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform periodic audits of the packing area to maintain compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure that packing activities meet quality standards.

3. Team Leadership:

• Supervise and train the packing team to enhance their technical skills and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Build and maintain a motivated team to achieve operational excellence.
• Plan manpower resources and shift schedules for efficient operations.

4. Inventory and Material Management:

• Monitor and manage packing materials, inventory levels, and wastage to optimize costs.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials.

5. Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
• Work closely with the engineering team to resolve machine breakdowns and ensure preventive maintenance.

6. Safety and Hygiene:

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and hygiene standards in the packing area.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions for the team.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of injectable packing processes and machinery.
• Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines like cGMP, USFDA, and MHRA.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1015 years of experience in packing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a pharmaceutical injectable manufacturing facility.
