Paediatric Nurses

Roles and Responsibilities:

> They provide high-quality, age-appropriate care to infants, children, and adolescents in various healthcare settings like hospitals, clinics, and paediatric practices.

> Assess patient's physical, emotional, and developmental needs of paediatric practices.

> Educate patients, families, and caregivers on paediatric care, disease prevention, and healthy development.

> Monitoring vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and breathing rate.

> Ensure adequate nutrition and hydration, considering dietary restrictions and developmental needs.

Qualifications:

> Initial 3 years of Nursing Degree.

> License: Valid Nursing License and specialized training in paediatric nursing.

> Specialized education and training program in paediatrics, typically 1 to 3 years.

> Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Paediatric Nurse.

> Clinical skills: In-depth knowledge and skills in paediatric nursing including Paediatric assessment and care planning, development care, development support, and management of paediatric emergencies like pain management.

> Ability to work with vulnerable and anxious paediatric patients and families.
