Nurse Practitioner

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Conduct health assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide primary and specialty care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare teams on healthy habits and self-care techniques.
• Refer patients to specialists and consult with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Nursing and completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
• Valid Nursing License.
• Specialized certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., APN Advanced Practice Nurse, GNP – Gerontological Nurse Practitioner).
• Additional education in a specific area of practice, such as primary care, pediatrics, gerontology, oncology, or cardiology.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

Required Skills:

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in German (B2 level or higher); English skills are an added advantage.
• Clinical Skills: In-depth knowledge and expertise in advanced practice nursing, including health assessment, diagnostic reasoning, medication management, and disease prevention.
• Patient Care: Strong proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients.
