PHP Developer - Laravel/Symfony (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- PHP Development : Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using PHP and the Zend Framework.

- Zend Framework Expertise : Utilize your expertise in Zend Framework to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

- Database Management : Work with Microsoft SQL to design, optimize, and query databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.

- Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions.

- Code Optimization & Troubleshooting : Ensure that applications are optimized for performance, and troubleshoot issues to provide timely solutions.

- Technical Leadership : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping to maintain coding standards and best practices.

- Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for code, databases, and workflows to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing within the team.

Mandatory/Must-Have Skills :

- 5-8 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer, with strong experience in the Zend Framework.

- Zend Framework proficiency is a must for this role.

- Experience working with Microsoft SQL for database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal teams and stakeholders.

- Experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

- Ability to handle complex technical challenges independently.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with other PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter is a plus.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Web Services.

- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.

- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
